A Blessing To The Family  • June 01, 1985

Received The Change • March 23, 2020

Father God, as we gather here together today to celebrate the life of our son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend, Nicholas. We pray that he is at peace, know he is loved, and missed. We pray for peace, comfort, and serenity for his family and friends.
Lord, we thank you for the time and love we had to share with him. May his spirit and memories live on through us.
In Jesus Name, Amen!

On March 23, 2020 our heavenly Father called Nicholas Gilmore to face the next phase of his destiny. Nicholas was born on June 01, 1985, to Katherine Turner Gilmore and Gregory Gilmore of Sacramento CA. Nicholas attended Sierra Vista High School, where he graduated in 2004 and then briefly attended American River College. Nicholas was never married and had no children.

My Story

My name is Nicholas Gilmore, I was born in Phoenix AZ in 1985. I grew up most of my life in Sacramento CA. I would have turned 35, if it had not been for COVID-19 it overcame me and won.

I ask you today not to cry for me, but to celebrate the wonderful life I had and the spiritual rewards I will soon receive. I truly miss my family on earth, but we all have to leave our flesh body and return to the spiritual body. I accepted Christ at an early age, being baptized at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. My human body slid but Jesus was always there for me.

I also attended  First Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church and New Home Missionary Baptist both of Sacramento. Before I passed I told my pastor, Min. Anthony Robertson of New Home that I really loved the Lord and  I also told my family and friends how much I loved them.

On my journey, I will miss all of you, but if you accept Salvation, follow the Light, the journey is yours too, Jesus PAID it ALL.

For those of you who knew me you know, I loved to help other people, be social, have fun, travel, and go to church.  I especially loved birthday parties, especially mine.  Well in case you don’t know it but this is the final birthday today, June 1st, I am going through the gate hopefully to a promised spiritual life and you keep living right so you may come one day too.
